HOME PAGEIncrease Font Size Decrease Font Size Welcome to Bradgate Surgery’s Website. We are the GP surgery for all your healthcare needs in Henbury, Brentry and surrounding areas. We provide a full range of primary care services from our surgery at The Crow roundabout. The practice covers the areas of: Brentry, Henbury, Southmead and Westbury on Trym. However, we also have patients who live in the areas of Coombe Dingle, Hallen, the top of Long Cross, Easter Compton and parts of Henleaze. If you are moving house or wish to join the practice please ask us whether your address will be in our catchment area.
HSJ AWARDBradgate Surgery in North West Bristol was recently shortlisted for the Health Service Journal “Research Culture” Award 2011, and was the only general practice in the country to have made it to the finals of these prestigious national awards. Dr Jason Victory, GP Partner and Mrs Sharron Norman, Practice Manager were invited to attend the finals in London where they presented a paper entitled: “Research Resuscitated: How one practice breathed life into the concept of primary care research”. The Judges were looking for initiatives or projects that have significantly increased the level of research activity or patient participation in research studies across an organisation. Bradgate Surgery was shortlisted alongside 7 large influential hospital trusts and organisations. Dr Jason Victory said he was delighted that the work the surgery had done to promote research had been recognised at the highest national level and says “It is an honour and a huge achievement to get this far”. Dr Victory accompanied by Sharron Norman Practice Manager and three other representatives from Bradgate Surgery attended the awards ceremony on November 15th at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. Getting to the finals would not have been possible without our patients and staff.
